WAITING TO MAKE A PINA COLADA

ABOUT A YEAR AND A HALF AGO I PURCHASED A PINEAPPLE PLANT. IT ALREADY HAD A PINEAPPLE GROWING ON IT. THIS CUTE THING RIPENED AND WE ENJOYED THE SWEET FRUIT. IN FACT I PLANTED THE CROWN OF THE PINEAPPLE WE ENJOYED.... HOPING TO GROW ANOTHER PLANT. WELL.... THE NEW PLANT IS GROWING BUT NOT THROWING ANY FRUIT SHOOTS…YET. THE OLDER PLANT IS THRIVING BUT HASN’T PRODUCED ANY MORE FRUIT. MAYBE SOON? DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY PINEAPPLE STORIES?

Oh these are SO lovely. I grew then in Australia from the tops of pineapples we ate and they thrived. And didn't have that really acid taste but were the sweetest pineapple I've ever ever eaten.

You are such a GREAT gardener!
