These water lily leaves are so awesome. The first two photos are pure art with the round dark leaves and then the diagonal sun shafts across the photo. And the close up of the leaves with water on them is a completely different type of art and equally as gorgeous. I love how you take photos in stages of growth as well and in vary degrees of distance. Very very creative!

I also enjoyed the whole banana thing as I once lived in Australia and did everything you are doing there. I also dried them on a screen mesh with a mesh cover. Naturally SUN dried bananas are SOOOO yummy...especially if they are ripe.

Then I looked at the squash and thought how I hope mine do well this year. I've got to get out and take photos of my garden in stages of growth. I usually do that every year but have been so swamped with work I've not done it yet. So this inspires me to do so. I hope to do some garden posts later in the summer.

You have such a lovely site, Miriam. I sense that everything you do has a quality of ART to it. It's just a natural aspect of who you are. How wonderful that is.

Hope you are well...
and hugs to you,
Robin :)

Robin, thank you for your comments--sometimes i feel like i am blogging to myself so when i get a response as warm as yours it gives me encouragement to continue. i scheduled the lotus post a few days ago and since that time 3-4 more leaves are standing up from the waters surface. can flowers be far behind?
