REFRESHING ICED TEA RECIPE





IT'S 115 DEGREES IN THE CALIFORNIA DESERT---GLAD I MADE SOME ICE TEA.

I USE CELESTIAL SEASONINGS DECAF TEAS
3 BAGS CANADIAN VANILLA MAPLE (it's an old box)
1 BAG HONEY VANILLA CHAMOMILE
AGAVE NECTAR---TO TASTE

BOIL 2 CUPS OF WATER ---POUR INTO A PYREX LIKE MEASURING CUP AND ADD THE TEA BAGS AND APPROXIMATELY 8 TSP. AGAVE NECTAR (OR MORE)---LET IT SIT FOR ABOUT 6-7 MINUTES. THEN REMOVE THE TEA BAGS AND ADD COLD WATER TO BRING TOTAL VOLUME UP TO 64 OZ.

I drink both these teas!! And love them! Have Vanilla Maple in my cupboard right now. And I use agave as well. BUT I have never combined them. I am going to have to try this. I can't believe how hot you are there. We are only 90 degrees here. I am going to try this tea as I've just started cold herbal teas again. Thanks! :)
