FRESH FROM THE GARDEN






I WAS THRILLED TO FIND THIS GROWING IN THE GARDEN--PLANTED IT SOME TIME AGO AND HAVE IGNORED IT
I DON'T KNOW IF ANYONE ELSE GETS EXCITED LOOKING AT BEAUTIFUL PRODUCE...BUT I THOUGHT I'D BETTER TAKE SOME PICTURES

THIS IS CALLED THE ONION GREEK SALAD (HYBRID) VARIETY FROM PINETREE GARDEN SEEDS ITEM # 24701

Well, I don't know about the variety, but this onion looks and I'm sure that smells like Greek onion.
One week ago, I participate in a bloggers recearch for prices in super markets. It was sad for me to see onions (and other vegetables) from other countries but not from Greece.
You can find greek onions only in farmer markets
